How to control your appetite

Why we cannot control our appetite. Science says It is our hormones!

Why we cannot control our appetite. Science says It is our hormones!

How to control your appetite is based on “hormones”, for many people the foods that they are eating can also cause them to develop a problem controlling food portions. Food addiction is a real condition that effects millions of people, the consequences can lead to obesity, diabetes or other health complications. Medical science is starting to understanding food addictions in ways that were not previously known just 10 years ago. If you are wondering how to control your appetite, the most important thing to understand is that hormones are powerful and they are responsible for how much you eat.

Food portions controlled by various hormones

There are various hormones such as leptin, Insulin and cortisol which controls how much you eat, many things can affect this mechanism and cause you to eat more food than you really want to eat. Stress and emotions play a crucial role in how these hormones work and ultimately how much you eat, the delicate balance of hormones work with the brain in signaling when you “feel full”

Hormone study

Most people are unaware that Insulin is the number one hormone for weight and appetite control, this is why the Spirit Happy Diet was shown to cause rapid weight loss in people with or weight diabetes. See here Spirit Happy Diet

Insulin dampens appetite by inhibiting NPY/AgRP-secreting neurons and by activating POMC-releasing neurons. Insulin appears to have both short-term and long-term actions and is essential in regulation of body weight. Resistance to insulin is very often associated with obesity and the loss of insulin’s regulation of metabolism as seen in diabetes type 2.

Working with these hormones is how to control the appetite, as we can see appetite is largely controlled by hormones which determine how much we will want to eat. There are people who simply keep eating because this releases “feel good hormones” that improve the mood. Will power does not work to halt a food addiction. Those who are under stress may “trigger” hormones that will cause you want to eat even if you are not particularly hungry. In addition, those who have suffered from childhood abuses(stresses) often develop eating disorders. Food addictions are greatly related to present and prior stresses.

Only a diet at was created by brain researchers based on how hormones work can stop the “out of control eating” This worked in 10 countries See here How to control your appetite

Food addiction, Emotional eating and Abuse

How abuse leads to food addictions and emotional eating

How abuse leads to food addictions and emotional eating

The link between emotional eating, food addiction and overeating are all connected to prior abuses, this is the case in millions of people. A new study once again confirms what this website has been showing people for the last 4 years, dieting fails in most people who have a problem controlling their appetite because dieting does not address the emotional aspects of why we overeat. There are over 20 million people in the United States who are taking antidepressants, often people suffering from food addictions are depressed and only diet created for emotional eating will stop the problem.

How the brain creates overeating

A team led by Dr. Susan M. Mason, a postdoctoral fellow at the Connors Center for Women’s Health and Gender Biology, studied the link between childhood abuse and adult food addiction in 57,321 women enrolled in the Nurses’ Health Study II. The conclusion from the study confirms what we have addressed on this site over the last 4 years, emotions are the root cause of overeating, food addiction, emotional eating.

Dr. Mason’s team found that food addiction was almost twice as common among women who indicated that they had experienced sexual or physical abuse before age 18 than among women with no history of childhood abuse “stressful environments may overeat so-called ‘comfort foods’—these are high-fat and high-sugar foods that can blunt feelings of distress by stimulating reward systems in the brain.”

The failure of willpower as a “method” in dieting is due to the fact that willpower does not address the true causes of overeating, until this is addressed the problem will not be solved.

Our food addiction diet is the number one diet overeaters diet in the world, the diet has been used to stop food addiction in over 10 countries because it is the only diet scientifically created to cause weight loss by addressing the brain chemicals that cause overeating

Losing weight then gaining it back: A solution

Losing weight and gaining it back: This problem which effects millions of dieters is caused by Insulin Resistance

Losing weight and gaining it back…this problem which effects millions of dieter is caused by Insulin Resistance

Losing weight and then gaining it back is a very common problem amongst those who diet, there is a very good reason why this happens and there is also a way to stop this cycle of putting on the pounds and then only having it return. The numbers of people who are overweight in the United States now stands at over 80 million, the consequences are serious, major health problems are related to excess body-weight. Help for those who are losing weight only to gain it back resides in the blood sugar.

Science has shown all returning weight is caused by insulin resistance

Insulin resistance is the cause of belly fat, obesity and diabetes, this is something that is effecting over 100 million in the United States today. The association of obesity with type 2 diabetes has been recognized for decades, and the major basis for this link is the ability of obesity to engender insulin resistance. Insulin resistance is a fundamental aspect of type 2 diabetes, obesity and all stomach fat. It is also linked to a wide array of other health problems including hypertension, heart attack and poly-cystic ovarian disease. We have more children today living with obesity and type 2 diabetes than at any other time in U.S history, millions of children are all insulin resistant, our modern processed foods have made us all insulin resistant. The cycle of losing weight then gaining it back will finally end when you address the insulin resistance.

Insulin resistance means that your body’s muscle, fat and liver cells don’t react normally to insulin, causing your pancreas to produce more insulin to help blood glucose enter cells so it can be used as energy. All that excess glucose builds up in your bloodstream and can lead to diabetes and other diseases. This is the reason the pounds comes back after dieting, this is the cause of the losing weight then gaining it back cycle. Please understand that normal dieting will not stop the pounds from returning, wee are largely all insulin resistance today. What can help? numerous diets were tested in Switzerland and only the Spirit Happy Diet reversed insulin resistance and stopped the cycle of losing weight then gaining it back. I am an Emotional Eater, What can Help?

The brain is too strong to stop emotional eating with will power says Doctors

The brain is too strong to stop emotional eating with will power says Doctors

I am an emotional eater, what can help? This was the latest email that we received Friday from a woman in her late 30’s. It is very important to understand that the brain is very much involved in every aspect of our eating habits, in fact, the root cause of all overeating stems from changes in the brain related to stresses. This is where we get the term emotional eater, the fact of the matter is that stresses effect our emotions and this is where the brain tries to help by seeking food.

Overweight, sad, stress, food

Biologically the brain can help you when your mood is down, very stressful events such as arguments, worries or even a frustrating relationship causes brain changes which signal the need to relieve the stresses. Emotions are powerful and can lead to a very unhealthy cycle of stress related overeating, this can cause obesity and other health complications. The brain chooses food as the method of relief. The stomach may influence the brain by releasing hormones, says Lukas Van Oudenhove, M.D one of the study authors and a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Leuven, in Belgium. If you are an emotional eater it is important to know that this is your body’s attempt to help lift your mood but it is not a healthy solution and needs to be addressed.

The failure of willpower

The study in Belgium showed just how powerful the effects of food was on the mood, the in take of chocolate or fatty foods had an almost drug like effect in addressing the emotions, will power is not strong enough to fight this effect. Do not blame yourself for emotion type eating, will power cannot stop this. What was even more amazing from the European study was the fact that sadness from just a picture ( such as a disaster or crying people) caused the brain to response by calming the sadness after ingesting fatty food. We can clearly see that stresses from jobs, divorces, or loss of life can cause uncontrollable eating in an emotional eater. The Food Addiction diet is the number one diet used over 10 countries, it was created by brain researchers to stop all overeating.

What can help overeating? A surprising connection

An addiction to food is real and strong

An addiction to food is real and strong

What can help overeating? The answer has been very clear on this site that only a diet created for overeaters will work and this is why we have helped so many people stop addictions to sugar, carbs, fats, and just about all other foods. In this post we will look at more compelling research from scientists who show clearly what can help stop overeating.

The lack of control over how much you eat can be a life long struggle, it is becoming clearer today that many people suffer from food addictions, brain imaging has shown us that food addictions are 100 percent real and must be addressed. The abuse of any food is not healthy but sugar, artificial sweeteners, carbs, junk food are strongly additive, it can take control of your life. What you don’t want is to become a slave to the “Don’t”, the don’t are when you “force yourself” not to eat something, this is will power and it will fail. What can help overeating? First understand that an addiction to food is real and it is based on brain chemistry, never blame yourself, an addiction to food is no different than any other addiction.

An addiction is an addiction

Researchers in England showed us some fascinating research on food addictions and how we can learn from people with alcohol addiction, Sally Marlow is an alcohol addiction researcher at the Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College London and her work with food addiction shows us that there is a common link with all addictions.

She stated “As an alcoholic I would go to different areas to buy my alcohol so people wouldn’t recognize me, but I’d also go to different newsagents to buy chocolate so they wouldn’t recognize me.

“Sneaking it into the house, not wanting people to see, hiding food, like an alcoholic hiding bottles, hiding empties.” The connection is that an addiction is an addiction.

What can help overeating? The problem is both emotional and physical, this issue is addressed in the Food Addiction Diet report. When you learn that overeating is not your fault but it is caused by emotional and physical factors you are on the right track, only a diet that addresses all these factors can stop the problem, this solution has worked in thousands worldwide

I am addicted to Soda(Coke Coca Cola)…Here’s why

How the Food makers hook you on Soda

How the Food makers hook you on Soda

I am addicted to soda (Coke) is something that millions of people battle with everyday, there is a very good scientific reason for this addiction which creates billions of dollars for the soft drink makers. We speak of Coke(coca cola) but in reality this applies to all sodas that are consumed today. The key word is “drug”, food can be used as a drug in the body and this can create addictions. “I am addicted to soda” If you are wondering why the answer is in the can.

While you were asleep the soda changed

Those who wonder how soda suddenly became a bad guy after 100 years on the market must understand how the food manufacturers change their ingredients without alerting the public, often these changes are based on money. In the food industry it is a known trade secret that certain ingredients have an addictive effects if consumed in large enough quantities, these hidden addictive chemicals will have you coming back for more of the product. Please put nothing pass the big food makers when it comes to making money. “I am addicted to soda” It was a phrase hardly heard in the 1950’s but it is common today, the addiction stems from something called high fructose corn syrup (HFCS)

HFCS: The way to keep them coming back

High fructose corn syrup is a drug like ingredients and it is included in every can or bottle of soda (and Snapple) today. This chemical is very sweet and is used sometimes with sugar. Here are the facts of this chemical, it changes the brain so you eat more food and want more soda.

The Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), scientists used magnetic resonance imaging to reveal that HFCS (in all Sodas) cause more hunger and more thirst, the more you drink the more you need. The brain was literally changed!

According to Dr. Robert Sherwin, chief of endocrinology at Yale University School of Medicine“As a result( of consuming HFCS), the desire to eat continues — it isn’t turned off.”

I am addicted to Soda(Coke)

The researchers saw these changes in the hypothalamus, insula, and striatum, which are regions of the brain that regulate appetite, motivation, and reward processing, in addition to increasing connections in certain brain pathways linked to feeling full.

The breaking of these addictions is not cured by switch to Splenda, Equal or Sweet and low, these are also poisons that cause cancers and other health problems.

The ending of Soda and all food addictions can only be solved with a diet created to stop these addictions. See here  Food and Soda addiction stopper in 10 countries

To stop overeating takes more than will power

Why you cannot stop overeating

Why you cannot stop overeating

Science and brain scans have shown us that to stop overeating takes much more than willpower, in fact willpower will probably cause you to eat more food says researchers. The dieting cycle is something that so many millions are caught up in and studies show that most of us will fail. There is a little lose of weight (mainly water weight) when we start a diet but this does not last. To stop overeating researchers now show takes more than simply trying to eat less, the brain does not give up that easily.

Why you overeat

The reason we overeat has to do with a delicate balance of hormones, ghrelin ,insulin and leptin all play a role in how much that we eat, these hormones are often out of quack when we are dieting, the more severe the diet the more the hormones go out of quack, this also can lead to very strong hunger pain signals from the brain. To stop overeating is not conquered by will power because the brain chemicals are powerful and tell us to eat. There are many factors that cause the hunger hormones to keep firing but stress is a major culprit

The pleasure response

Doctor Pittman of University of Calgary’s Hotchkiss Brain Institute showed that stress causes a mix of hormones that cause you to eat even when not hungry but when we try willpower to curb food things go horrible wrong.

For example, if we elect to pass over a meal, the brain appears to simply increase the drive in pathways leading to increased appetite,” said Dr. Pittman

Furthermore, the fact that the lack of food causes activation of the stress response might help explain the relationship between stress and obesity.” To stop overeating only a diet created for overeating will work.

Stop blaming yourself for lack of appetite control, this site is the number one site for weight loss and overeating in the world because our food addiction diet that is used in 10 countries was created to stop overeating without causing a brain stress response

Why you have a Diet Soda addiction and how to stop it

What causes your Diet Soda Addiction is a chemical

What causes your Diet Soda Addiction is a chemical

It sounds so nice, sweet and calorie free but a diet soda addiction to Coke, Pepsi or whichever can mean big trouble for your body and brain. One of the ways people have been lured to this addictive substance has been the belief that “zero calories” must equal healthy, this is a big mistake, zero calories can add up to big trouble depending on what you are drinking. A diet soda addiction is 100% real and the effects will surprise you

What danger sits in a diet drink?

Look on the bottle or can of any dieting drink and you will see the absence of the ingredient sugar, now sugar over the past 10 years has been called an enemy of the people, sugar has been blamed for everything from Type 2 diabetes to acne to obesity, scientifically sugar is still the best sweetener on the market( In Moderation). Take another look on the back of that sugar free drink and you are going to see an ingredient that causes you to get hooked on the beverage, in addiction, the ingredient actually causes you to gain weight. A diet soda addiction is ruining your diet and causes you to get a bigger belly.

Aspartame

Aspartame is a dangerous chemical that is included in almost every diet drink, it is not your friend and it is highly addictive. What does it do to the body?

Epidemiologists from the School of Medicine at The University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio reported data showing that diet soft drink consumption is associated with increased waist circumference in humans, and a second study that found aspartame raised fasting glucose (blood sugar) in diabetes-prone mice.

“Data from this and other prospective studies suggest that the promotion of diet sodas and artificial sweeteners as healthy alternatives may be ill-advised,” said Helen P. Hazuda, Ph.D., professor and chief of the Division of Clinical Epidemiology in the School of Medicine. “They may be free of calories but not of consequences.”

If you have a diet soda addiction it is the Aspartame that is hooking you and it is causing weight gain not weight loss! It causes diabetes and weight gain! This powerful chemical (Aspartame) has caused millions of people to become hooked on this sugar free beverages. How to break the chemical hold on you: Aspartame is a strong chemical(drug), it effects the part of the brain responsible for all food addictions. We showed in our diet for addictions how to break this, it stopped sugar free soda addictions in 2 weeks

Can’t stop eating? here’s why

Dieting wrong will cause you to eat more

Dieting wrong will cause you to eat more

Why can’t I stop eating, the control of the appetite is rooted in the brain. It may amazing people when they learn that the keep to appetite control is not in the stomach but in the brain. The stomach is involved in digestion but when we feel hungry we often think that it is the stomach that is calling for food but it is a brain signal. There has been a worldwide increase in food addictions, those who simply can’t stop eating are often at a loss as to why the have this problem.

The Chemistry of the Appetite

When you are really hungry the body starts a series of biological functions that signal you that you need something to eat, this is why when you forget to eat( for example at work) you will feel the grumbling in the stomach, it is necessary function and healthy for survival. When the body and brain are working in perfect harmony the brain sends the hunger signal at the appropriate times to save you from starvation. There are millions of people in whom this perfect brain/body balance is not working in the right way, those who can’t stop eating have a system balance that is slightly off, the signal that you are hungry may fire more often than it should. Sometimes this signal fires to snack (when you are not hungry) because it releases feel good hormones to fight stress.

Stress Markers

Emotional stresses such as from a bad relationship, job, divorce, dieting, or abuses(prior and current) all disrupt this very delicate balance in the brain. This is why children who have suffered physical, mental or verbal abuses are 10 times more likely to develop a problem with their appetite. A stressful job or even deep depression can disrupt brain hormone balances of leptin and insulin can cause you to want something to snack, it is important to understand that will power and dieting can actually makes this worst by creating more stresses.. Dieting should not be ignored but those who can’t stop eating will not be helped with a regular diet. A diet for food addiction or appetite control can only be controlled by a diet created for this problem, we are speaking of a diet that addresses the emotional and dieting problem.

I am Dieting but so hungry: What to do about this

How to stop the pain

How to stop the pain

“Dieting but so hungry” is a situation that many find themselves in and there is a scientific explanation as to why you have this problem. Once you get familiar with how hunger works you will be well on your way to reversing this problem. The area of the brain that controls appetite (hypothalamus and the hippocampus )are involved in hunger. If you are dieting but still so hungry (or just starting a new diet) this article will try to help you understand the process.

There are brain neurons that are involved with appetite, there are also hormones like insulin and leptin which can help you control hunger, when the body is operating perfectly(rarely) we have no trouble controlling our appetite but this is not the case when on a diet. When you diet there is a complex system of hormones and brain neurons that all interact and the bottom line is you stay famished. Diets do not work in over 80% of people because they are based on the false premise of “just lowering carbs, calories or sugar”, this will eventually lead to the “dieting but so hungry” feeling that we all get.

When you can diet and still keep your hormones balanced you do not get hunger pains This is why the a diet in Europe works for so many, it was created for diabetics but it is now the number one European diet for people without diabetes

Here

The pain and irritation of dieting

‘If you diet and lose fat, your leptin levels drop and that is like switching on an alarm in the brain,’ says Professor O’Rahilly professor of clinical biochemistry and medicine at Cambridge University

‘The brain then makes you feel hungry, signaling that you must find food and consume calories immediately”

The pain and irritation starts in your brain not in your stomach, that hunger feeling is caused by the brain triggering the release of a hormone called ghrelin, as we can see there is a complex working of hormones and brain chemistry when trying to stop a food addiction or simply trying to diet. Diets cause hormones to go crazy and this is why so many people fail, this is why will power is also a completely failure. You may stop eating for a while but the diet will eventually fail.

The good news

There right way to lose weight with a diet created for food addictions, this diet is based on science to eliminates hunger pain and the dieting but so hungry feeling.

How to break sugar addiction

Only a diet created for Sugar addiction can stop this craving

Only a diet created for Sugar addiction can stop this craving

Sugar addiction is not reversed with will power, do not let anyone fool you into thinking that this problem can be solved with the “I think I can” approach. This site has shown thousands that the true causes of being sugar addicted (or food) is related to the brain. This is supported by tons of neurological studies. When you learn the secret you will see how to break a sugar addiction. It is also important to understand that much of your failed efforts to stop eating is not your fault according to brain researchers..

The brain wants what the brain wants

Brain changes can cause addictions, this is not something that is easily reversed, the changes in the brain can start from childhood or adulthood. Emotional stresses are the triggers that create the majority of food addictions. The lack of understanding of this fact has caused countless of thousands to feel ashamed at their lack of will power. Those who have a difficulty controlling the appetite are often hardest on themselves, it may seem like an area in their lives where they have no control. You may be super successful as a mom, dad, student or business person but you still cannot get a handle on the food problem. How to break a sugar addiction? First we must start in the brain, this sweetener is powerfully addictive, it is as strong as cocaine according to European researchers.

Magalie Lenoir, Fuschia Serre, Lauriane Cantin, Serge H. Ahmed

University Bordeaux 2, Université Bordeaux 1, CNRS, UMR 5227, Bordeaux, France

In a recent study rats were given a choice between sugar water and cocaine, and 94% them chose sugar. Even the rats that had previously been addicted to cocaine switched to the sugar once it was a choice.

Both the sugar and cocaine were found to be highly addictive, both activated a section of the brain that caused them to become addicted. Can will power stop a cocaine user? No, it cannot, so why should will power be able to a sugar addiction?

This is why dieting has been a failure for so many, just counting calories or trying to use will power is no match for the brain. You can want to eat less or stop eating a certain food but this is no comparison to the brain desires. Studies show that over 85% of diets are a complete failure, it is not your fault. We have shown that only a diet created for food addictions can stop overeating. This diet has now been used in 7 countries to stop overeating or break sugar addiction.

What to do about Antidepressant weight gain

The link between Depression Drugs and Weight gain

The link between Depression Drugs and Weight gain

Those who suffer from Depression are usually prescribed anti depressants, weight gain is one of the unfortunate side effects of taking medication for a depressed mental condition. The numbers of people in the United States on medications for depression are over 30 million, one of the major set backs from taking these pills is weight gain, anti depressants are known to cause a tremendous amount of increased body weight.

Sarah 24

Sarah was prescribed the anti depressant Zoloft and gained over 30 pounds in less than one year, the majority of drugs for depression are called serotonin up lifters. These drugs are necessary for people who live with depression. The drugs can be the difference between functioning on a daily basis or not, there are many who cannot get through the day without these pills. Clinical depression is a very serious illness, many are not able to work or do very ordinary tasks. The question is what to do about the weight gain from anti depressants, is there a way to address the illness of depression without the negative effects of the pills? Medications for depression work on the brain and they cause the body to hold fat.

A review published in 2003 in the Cleveland Clinic Journal of Medicine stated that while weight gain is a possible side effect with SSRI antidepressant drugs, it may be more likely to occur after six months or more of use

There are many theories as to why the pills cause weight gain, this occurs even in those who are not eating more. Science has no direct answer as to why this side effect occurs but one thing is sure and that is it is not good. The use of anti depressants and weight gain is something you should be very concerned about. The Food addiction diet was shown to cause weight loss in people on depression medication

I can’t control my appetite: Here’s why

A typical diet does not stop the brain signal that makes you keep eating

A typical diet does not stop the brain signal that makes you keep eating

Susan says “ I can’t control my appetite”, she is one of the millions of people who have tried diet and exercise but still cannot limit how much they eat. There are many reasons for this condition but science shows that the brain is most responsible for the problem of overeating, The deep root causes of eating too much can be explained. I can’t control my appetite, it is is a growing National problem that has many seeking a solution.

Turning off the brain response

The brain is responsible for how much you eat, it signals you to feel full and stop eating. Obesity is a national dilemma and the problem is showing no signs of slowing down, the Center of Disease (CDC) stated last week t that more people are dieting but they are seeing less results. People are eating less calories but the weight is still not coming off. This is something we have addressed on this site for a long time, calorie counting will not lead to more weight loss. Only a diet created for people who have a problem controlling how much they eat will work. “I can’t control my appetite”, what this means is the brain hippocampus is not working properly and you will continue to over eat. This is why dieting fails, it does not address the root causes of overeating.

Emotional triggers

Divorce, break up and a loss of a loved one can all alter brain hippocampus function and cause uncontrolled appetite. Childhood events and stress also set the brain up for food addiction. The failure of the popular diets can be attributed to the fact that they have adopted a cookie cutter style to dieting, one size fits all and this does not work. “ I can’t control mu appetite” this statement alone should tell us that a typical diet will not work for an over-eater, a diet for overeating must be based on real brain research to reverse the problem

I Hate my Body: 7 year old’s and the media

I hate my body is a common complaint from women but what is more scary is that there are girls as young as 7 are expression growing dissatisfaction with their bodies. What this tells us is that the media has a growing influence on female body image. As the obesity crisis continues it is causing more depression among women trying to meet a certain body image. “I hate my body” can mean a future eating disorder is near.

Marilyn Fat? Today's teen boys find her overweight

Marilyn Fat? Today’s teen boys find her overweight

Girls and how they few their bodies

A Swedish study by Birgitta Edlund, Klara Halvarsson, Per-Olow Sjödén found that girls as young as 7 were dieting and were extremely concerned with body image. Although these girls were found to be average weight almost 30% of them were “dieting to lose weight” Being healthy is fine but when 7 year old’s are already getting a distorted image of themselves we have a problem. Many of these little girls are on the road to overeating, the stress from trying to maintain an unrealistic body image leads to brain changes that create overeating. “I hate my body” is becoming a common response when women are asked to describe their bodies.

Fat ?

A Study conducted amongst teen boys age 15-18 in 2008 found that Marilyn Monroe was described as “Fat” by the boys. The picture in the study was every teens boy’s dream in the 1950’s but was not acceptable today. When asked why they thought she was fat most compared her to waif like models of today. Unrealistic body images create food addictions, emotional stresses cause overeating and when women cannot meet the image that is being pumped in their heads from media on a daily, overeating can occur.

I hate my body

Men contribute to low self esteem in women by reinforcing the preference of the childlike girl over the grown woman. Increasingly men are being influenced to prefer the thin teen body over the grown woman. It is important for women to understand that most overeating is caused by emotional stress which are not controlled by will power.

3 reasons Why “I Can’t control my appetite”

How emotional stress causes overeating

How emotional stress causes overeating

There are millions who live each day saying  “I can’t control my appetite”, they have a hard time getting under control how much they eat no matter how hard they try. Science has revealed some very interesting information that reveals what may have set a person up for a problem with the food relationship. There are factors that may have been beyond your control that caused the brain to change. If you are saying “I can’t control my appetite” science researchers have pinpointed at least 3 things that may have disrupted your brain

1. Bullying: Were you bullied in school or by others(included family) when you were a child? Bullying has a deep emotional effect on the hippocampus portion of the brain. This is the same part of the brain that effects appetite and satiety from eating, this is deeply revealing, we have seen so many who were never the same after bullying. In fact, binge eating, overeating, food addictions and bulimia are all related to brain changes from emotional stress. Those who admit “I can’t control my appetite” are closer on the road to healing.

2. Child abuse: The abuses on a child whether physical, sexual or verbal leave scars that go well beyond the abuses. Studies in Europe(Berlin) show that over-eaters were more than 300% more likely to have been victims of a traumatic childhood. The effects of hurting a child continue well into adulthood. Adults must understand the deep damage that they do to a young person when they abuse the child. A child id defenseless and usually turns on themselves by overeating or harming themselves.

3. Divorce or Bad relationship: Living in a bad relationship as an adult causes deep emotional damages that can effect appetite. The links between emotional stress and appetite are well founded by researchers. The University of California showed the link

UCSF Health Psychology Program “Increases in negative mood in response to the stressors were also significantly related to greater food consumption. These results suggest that psychophysiological response to stress may influence subsequent eating behavior. Over time, these alterations could impact both weight and health”

As we can see “I can’t control my appetite” has much more to do with emotional factors than it has to do with will power. The brain in very fragile and many things can set you up for a food addiction or a problem controlling the appetite. This is why a typical diet does not work for a person with a problem overeating.   Click here Brain and Diet

The brain may say “Keep Eating”

I can’t control my appetite: This is a common complaint from those who have tried to eat less put still cannot stop overeating. There have been many theories as to why it is so hard to control how much we eat but it was not until brain imagery came along that science really understood what was behind the problem. If you are one of the millions saying “I can’t control my appetite” you should not blame yourself

The hippocampus section of the brain is largely responsible for appetite and overeating, there are many who have tried but simply cannot control how much they eat, there are many things that effect the hippocampus but just some of the events that cause this brain section to go wrong is stress, abuse(verbal, sexual, physical, emotional)divorce, lonely, bad marriage or a stressful job. It is a fact that most problems with overeating are related to emotional stresses, prior or current. What you eat can also influence this part of the brain. This is why it is crucial that a person who has a food addiction or a problem with constant snacking use the appropriate diet. If you are one of the many saying “I can’t control my appetite” do not blame yourself.

The failure of the typical diet

The typical diet cannot help a person who snacks constantly or has a food addiction, a typical diet does not address the brain hippocampus. This is also why willpower has been a complete failure for those who simple try to eat less, trying to eat less does not work. Will power does not address the brain. It is amazing what science research can teach us. The nasty comments from people who do not understand overeating are now shown to be fully unwarranted and just plain mean.

If you have struggled with constant snacking or are one of the many saying I can’t control my appetite please understand only a diet created for food addiction proves successful

Why a typical diet cannot stop a food addiction

How the Brain causes your appetite to stop or increase

How the Brain causes your appetite to stop or increase

A typical diet will not stop a food addiction, this has been proven by brain and science researchers. The dilemma that faces so many people who have a hard time controlling the appetite is what should I eat. This can be a daily battle that can include various low calorie foods to not eating at all, it all been very frustrating. It must be stated that to stop a food addiction a typical diet will not work

Food addicted and the failed diet

The reason so many people fail at dieting is due to the fact that they have not factored in brain research revealing how appetite control works. Thankfully the use of brain imaging has helped us better understand the condition of uncontrolled appetite. A person who needs constant snacks or who eats more than necessary has areas of the brain that should be controlling appetite but it is not going so well. This is the main reason that dieting fails, dieting cannot work when the brain section that controls appetite is effected negatively. It is clear from brain imagining that a typical diet will not stop food addiction nor will it help control appetite.

Due to these new finding it is clear that will power is a failed approach to controlling the appetite. The failed will power approach is based on the misconception that you can convince yourself to eat less by just trying hard enough. Those who have tried this approach and failed have been considered weak, often they were told that they did not have any self control. What a horrible way to look at the situation. We can see that when the appetite section of the brain is effected negatively that will power will not work. Food can be just as addictive as any drugs, until the appetite section of the brain is corrected.

There is only on diet in the world that has been proven to correct the appetite control center and address the emotional aspects of the condition. See here Diet for Food addiction

Fat and embarrassed on Facebook? what to do about it

You don't need facebook to communicate with your friends and family

You don’t need facebook to communicate with your friends and family

I am fat and was embarrassed on facebook was the latest email from a girl who suffers from food addiction. There is a bitter sweet combination when someone decides to join a social network, you open yourself up to so many opinions and judgments from others. Creating a profile and uploading your life can be dangerous. Being fat and embarrassed on facebook is a very common thing and we will tell what to do about it

Prejudice against over-eaters

There is a bias against people that overeat, they are often ridiculed and made the sport of many people’s jokes. In media and television it is common to make fun of the people who are overweight, we see it every day on TV. This site was created to teach people that being overweight is not your fault. Almost all overeating comes from emotional stresses like bad parents, divorce, sexual abuses, physical abuses and more. These are the horrific events that start overeating additions in the brain. This site is not on facebook because we simply do not believe in it. Being fat and embarrassed on face-book’s website is a common occurrence for uncountable thousands. We live in a world that is sadly very superficial, meaning we judge others by how they look not for who they are. This will not change it is a sad part of the human condition.

Please like and follow me

The need to be liked is very human and that is because we are social creatures, but the need to be liked for how we look is what most people really want to achieve, the media has created this monster.

Six pack abs, puffy lips, bedroom eyes, no fat on the body, teeth whiter than normal..etc.

This is what we are fed by the media each day and it works. They make millions and you get embarrassed for not living up to a fake image. So with facebook looking fat can be a problem yet people want to be liked on their website. Many are bullied on the social website by rumors and false stories and some cannot get pass the fact that they were teased or destroyed by what others posted. This food addiction site would love to see everyone close their Facebook account but it is not that easy, most will not leave their site.

We own you

There is a bigger problem though, face-book’s site does not allow you to close your account, you can park it but they own all you have written and posted for life. Like a bad virus your account cannot be deleted.

Fat and embarrassed? I would recommend you leave that site without a second thought.

What do you mean your not on face-book?  This is the question we get everyday and we let people know after their shock subsides that we are not followers of what everyone else does. The  need to communicate is simple let your friends text you or make a simple telephone call.  Let them know you are not on Facebook, they will get over the shock and give you a call

More stress…More overeating

Stress,Emotions and Overeating connected

Stress,Emotions and Overeating connected

Stress is a leading cause of overeating. Researchers in New Castle revealed that people who have a hard time controlling their appetite are under more stressful situations. With the growth of food addictions in the United States and much of the West researchers are looking for ways to combat the increasing problem. We have stated on this site that emotional stress and overeating go hand in hand.

The diet lies

People who have a problem controlling their appetite are often met with nasty comments or stares from others who do not understand the emotional links to the condition. We have documented on this site the nasty comments from people who just do not understand the brain’s role in those lack of the appetite. Sadly those who do not understand food addictions will always offer the same failed solution which they claim as dieting. Dieting does not work for food addiction, this is not an excuse it is the scientific truth. Many food addictions and problems with food start without us knowing it. The are rooted in emotional issues. Often we have no clue where the problem began. It is critical to know this

Guilt

Guilt is still the most difficult emotion that people who have a problem with appetite control experience. After eating too much there can be a deep depression and a feeling of low self worth. This is because we blame ourselves for not having the self control to stop eating. We are actually shifting the blame to ourselves the same way those who do not understand the condition. This can lead to more stress and more overeating.

Anti Depressants Overeating

Depression drugs cause weight gain and increase appetite strongly

Depression drugs cause weight gain and increase appetite strongly

I am on anti depressants and am overeating? This was the latest email that we received this past weekend. This is not an uncommon problem, anti depressant drugs such as Paxil, Zoloft and quite a few others can increase appetite. In fact, it is not uncommon to gain over 50 pounds while using these drugs. Anti depressants and overeating can cause a depressed person to feel even worst if the weight gain effects their self esteem

Can’t stop eating

One of the side effects of depression medications is weight gain and increased appetite, this is one of the effects that is seldom spoken of. It is not uncommon to gain 20,30,40 or more pounds while on certain depression medications. These pills are necessary for millions of people who cannot function daily without the drugs. Depression can be a very serious and debilitating illness when left untreated. One of the unfortunate side effect of the drug use is increased appetite and this can also cause medical health problems. It is important to understand clearly that Anti depressants and overeating are linked.

The Brain

The brain is a very delicate and complex part of the human body. Anti depression drugs have a direct effect on the brain, this is why they help control clinical depressive conditions. Science has shown that the drugs also effect the parts of the brain that control appetite and this can cause a problem controlling the appetite. The weight gain can cause self esteem issues and this can create a vicious cycle. Here we can see a possible vicious cycle of Anti depressants, overeating and depression. Knowing what the drugs do can help you choose what is best for your body.

Can a binge eater be skinny? What you need to know

Binge eaters come in all sizes

Binge eaters come in all sizes

One of the questions we received recently was can a binge eater be skinny? The answer is yes, many are in fact thin. We have seen over-eaters who are in fact thin as well. What is important to remember is that the problem affects people of all nationality and of all sizes. There is no typical size for a binge eater. They can be people who are skinny or heavy.

What is this eating disorder really?

This is a condition where for a period of time a person will consume large or extreme quantities of food usually in a single sitting. The characteristics of the foods typically consumed are usually high fat, sugar or empty calories. Those who practice this behavior usually state that they have no control over the overeating. This is consistent with those we have helped treat with the ‘Friends again” report. We have discovered that those who do overeat are extremely intelligent and thoughtful people. A binge eater can be skinny, this condition does not necessarily include a weight problem although some were overweight. The vast majority were just slightly overweight not more than 10 pounds.

Hidden and unresolved stress are once again the key factor in those who binged and this is the key to healing. This is the number one site for true food addiction problems, read this site daily and heal. The blame is often very heavy on the conscience of a person who overeats, guilt and shame are often associated with the problem. Will power does not stop this condition but sadly will power is still what most people use to treat themselves. We must remove the stereotypes; a binge eater can be skinny, overweight or slightly over weight. This condition can be reversed on your own, The Friends again report includes healing for binge eating see here help for food addiction

Why am I always hungry?

Dieting will not solve this

Dieting will not solve this

Why am I always hungry was the latest question we receive via email. This is not always an easy question to answer. Being hungry all the time can be a sign of illness, for example it is one of the warning signs of diabetes. If you do not have high blood sugar your hunger may every well be related to stresses in your life. If you are asking “why am I always hungry” you are not alone, it is one of the most popular questions we have received on this site

From our research with over-eaters we have seen that almost all overeating is related to emotional stress not gluttony. These stresses can come from a bad relationship, job, family,or just about anything. We have also seen those who have suffered child abuses develop eating disorders. The relationship with food is very delicate and sensitive, there are many things that can start you on the road to overeating. Those asking “why am I always hungry” could note that it can be related to emotional eating.

Dieting will not help a person who overeats, this is one of the reasons diets fail so often, there are many who are dieting when this is not addresses the true cause of their problem. All the diets in the world will not stop overeating. Stress (prior and current) effects the brain and causes changes that are only satisfied with food.

Now, you have to ask yourself which is it? Do you have an illness like diabetes that can cause constant hunger or is it stress/emotional related? In most cases it is the latter( emotional stresses) that cause you to overeat. Why am I always hungry? It is usually based on the stresses in your life.

Why Overeaters anonymous does not work : The real answer

hiddenWhy Overeaters anonymous does not work is a very good question. The answer is that there is no real healing of the person who can’t control their appetite. This was one of the main complaints of those who helped put the “Friends Again Food addiction cure report” together. There is a root cause of eating too much and this is why Overeaters Anonymous does not work, the root cause of the problem is never truly addressed.

The way to stop a food addiction has been documented on this website which is read in 10 countries worldwide with thousands of readers. All food addictions are rooted in the

’emotions” this is scientific fact. For years the blame game has placed the blame on the person who could not control their appetite. This has lead to many false theories such as the “Weak-willed person” many people for decades were told that they did not have enough will power and that if they just resisted they could control the appetite. Many still have this false belief today! Why Overeaters anonymous (or O.A) does not works was one of the subjects we confronted with people who could not control the appetite, the answer was O.A did not heal their problem.

Our website became popular in less than half a year because it showed the person who was overeating the road to the REAL emotional problem behind the problem with food. Once on the right road you are able to finally and slowly control the appetite. There is no will power involved just a true desire to eat less. If you are one of the many who were wondering why Overeaters anonymous did not work you are not alone.

Food addiction withdrawals what to do about it

Trying not to eat it will cause you to eat more later

Trying not to eat it will cause you to eat more later

Food addiction withdrawals are usually a sign that you are trying to win the battle by using will power. Will power does not work according to researchers. The reason for this is scientific; a person who cannot control the appetite has an emotional issue not a physical issue. Food addiction withdrawals happen to people using will power to address the illness. This does not addressed the underlying causes of the overeating.

What is happening when you are craving

The brain desires something and this is the root cause for the cravings. When you decide not to give the body what it wants the cravings for food become much stronger. At this point comes the uncomfortable feeling and sometimes pain. Brain signals cause this irritation. It is not uncommon to feel irritable and short tempered with other people when cravings come. This is often the result of using will power which does not work. We worked with hundreds of people who had a problem controlling the appetite and then discovered what does work. The answer is “emotional” not “physical”

Food addiction withdrawals happen to people using “will power” to try to solve the problem and this will not work.

This is why we encourage people to eat freely while address the emotional aspects of the condition.  Will power is one of the main reasons dieting fails the person who has an appetite problem. You may say “I will not overeat today” and this may work for a while but then you will end up overeating again. The cycle is repeated. Food addiction withdrawals usually come from trying to use will power to stop overeating. This will not work in the long run as the true cause will never been addressed this way.  The “Friends again” cure for overeating was created by over-eaters who show you how to stop overeating without relying on willpower.  Read it and be set free. What can help Depression? There is an answer

We receive lots of questions about “What can help depression” without medications (Drugs). The answer depends on if the true root of the depressed condition involves overeating or not. If you are not overeating but depressed you may want to see the link here  am i depressed?

What can help depression when you are overeating may be a different subject and this site is for you.

The Depressed and overeating

The connection between people who are overeating and suffering from a depressed mental condition is common. The two go together and the reason has to do with the brain. Brain chemicals affect your mood or as many believe “Your mood affects your brain chemicals” The bottom line result is a clinical depressive state that may have to be treated with medications. Meds are excellent for clinically depressed people but they also can cause overeating and other serious side effects. This is the double edge sword that many face. What can help depression depends on you. Each individual must take their own path

What we have seen in our research with overeaters

This site was set up as the only site that had overeaters come together and solve overeating without therapist or drugs. The end result was the “Friends again with food” report. We show that almost all overeating from current or past emotional issue. You learn how to stop a food addiction own your own in private. See the link at the top of the page to read the report. For those who want to stay on meds this is great if it is working for you. Those who want to come off meds should let their doctor know that they want to stop and then you can decide what is best for you. What can help depression? The answer depends on you. Is there a way to stop overeating? You can do this without therapy

How hundreds came together without a therapist and solved how to stop over eating

Is there a way to stop overeating was the number one question when we recruited hundreds of over-eaters to help them control the problem on their own. The key to this website was to help people (Anonymous and privately) cure this issues on their own. This is what so many therapists do not do. Is there a way to stop overeating on your own? The answer is yes.

There are millions who silently and secretly suffer with eating too much. They live with this problem often in pain. The thought of eating becomes a huge problem and causes guilt. One of the things we discovered when hundreds of people came together was that the problem can consume much of the day. This problem with food was taking up much of their time and thoughts even at work.

What worked! We did something unheard of and it worked!  What we did was put hundreds of overeaters together to find out what caused the problem and how to solve it. Some laughed and some cried but there was a healing. Is there a way to stop overeating was the question and the answer was yes. No judgments and no doctors just people with the same problem in one room.

There are many who have been helped with a therapist but what we wanted to do was to help people find the answer on their own. This is what lead to the “Friends again” report. The only report created by overeaters to stop people from overeating. Often a therapist can relate to a problem but it is not the same thing has “having the problem” and that is why this site is so popular with so many with food addictions.

Depression and Food addiction how to take control

You overeat not because you want to Pig out. Emotional issues are behind all overeating

Depression and food addiction are directly connected and controlling this is not always easy. There is a few scientific reason for this problem and it involves the brain. Overeating is often related to factors that go way beyond a love of food. In fact many over-eaters are not lovers of food. There are many factors that contribute to overeating. Depression and food addiction often go together This is a very important factor when considering how to control this problem.

What are the roots of overeating

The fact of the matter is that over-eaters often have other emotional issues that contribute to the overeating. Sadly people who do have this issue are not treated very nicely in our society. It is still acceptable to many to make fun of people who are over-eater. In the image obsessed society that we live in over-eaters often end up suffering. There are literally millions in the world who are clinical depressed and they often take anti depression medications to treat the problem. With Depression or stress often comes food addiction, this is because of brain chemicals.

Science has shown that the brain of a depressed person (from early childhood) is wired differently.

New research identifies the brain chemicals and circuits involved in illnesses like depression and anxiety, giving potential new directions to their treatment. In addition, research with children shows that early-life depression and anxiety changes the structure of the developing brain

These are the same changes that are seen in people with food addictions. Depression and Food addiction are linked in many ways.

The findings were presented at Neuroscience 2011

Most people do not realize that much of their food addictions are related to other emotional issues. A relationship with stress (This can be a job, mother, father, boyfriend or husband..etc) will cause overeating.

Most overeating come from other events in your life(It can stem from the present or from childhood) not from a love of pigging out. The food is used to heal your emotions and this is why you overeat. Depression and Food addiction are linked; you can change this. See here STOP a food addiction

Why am i not losing weight: There are 2 reasons

Why am i not losing weight? Diet or Emotions

If you are one of the millions wondering “Why am I not losing weight?” The problem must be address from two different angles. We will touch more on this later in this post. In the United States and much of Europe there is a growing problem of obesity. Many are trying but failing. Unfortunately, for the majority “Why am I not losing weight?” is what they end up saying.

We have worked with thousands of people who could not lose the weight and the “cause” revolves around two things. One is diet and the other is emotional issues that cause overeating. There are many dieting when it is in fact other emotional issues that are contributing to a food addiction. This is also why may people fail at dieting. The problem may not be dieting at all. If you have unresolved emotional issues dieting will not work. Why I am not losing weight may have more to do with past or present emotional stresses than with dieting.

Those who suffer from depression or those in unsupportive relationship often have a problem with overeating. Becky at 25 was in an abusive relationship and this lead to her overeating. No diet could help her. And we have spoke before about Diana 39 whose mother caused much of her problems with food as well as her dating life.  If you are asking “why am I not losing weight” think twice. Don’t assume a diet is the answer to the problem. If it is truly is a dieting problems we recommend the European weight loss diet because it heals the body. See here spirit happy cure

BUT…

If you truly have emotional issues related to overeating then no diet will help. We have found that you can stop food addiction when the true emotional causes are addressed See here help food addiction

Diet for food addiction: What is the best diet for a food addiction?

Diet for Food addiction? Most won’t help

The best diet for food addiction must be based on the healing of the underlying causes. This is one of the major problems with people who have tried dieting to curb their appetite. Often the cause of the overeating is never addressed. With the increase of obesity worldwide the solutions that are coming out from so called health experts are failing. A diet for food addiction should not be the same as a typical lose weight diet. This is something the so-called experts never address.

Why dieting fails most people

With the thousands of diets advertised the obesity crisis is still growing. Common sense tells us that the diets are failing the people. The advertisers want you to think “You” are failing but this is a lie, their diets are failing! In a future post we will explain why popular diets fail so often

How to really stop a overeating: Just this week in The Huffington Post

Here is the story of a woman who lost 125 pounds after addressing the true cause of her diet for food addiction.

That was reported this week in the Huffington Post.

Name: Danielle Crowder
Age: 26
Height: 5’4″
Before Weight: 282 pounds

How I Gained It: Ever since I was little I was overweight. I really put on the weight when my parents got divorced, due to my dad’s alcohol addiction when I was 10. My mom worked two jobs to help make ends meet, and I would eat while she was gone because I was sad. I was teased at school from elementary through high school by kids because of my weight, which just made the vicious circle go around. I never really realized how out of hand it was until my first son was born.

Stop Food Addiction? Causing people to feel ashamed does not work

Making people feel ashamed as in these ads do not work

There is a horrible trend in the big media to stop food addiction causing people to feel ashamed. This simply will not work and can cause a complete disaster for the person trying to get a handle on overeating. There are millions in the United States and Europe seeking ways to stop food addiction, most are failing because they are using the wrong approach. The overeater usually seeks a new diet and studies show that this will lead to failure. Diet is not the problem and you must understand this to beat the problem

Media using “Shame” to embarrass overeaters.

In just the last month major news outlets like Time Magazine, CNN, Philly Blogs and Fox News have run articles promoting the use of shame. In fact, some psychologists have jump on the bandwagon and are promoting making children feel ashamed as a way to stop childhood obesity and overeating.

In Atlanta there is a shame campaign going on to address childhood obesity.  Here are some of the slogans they are using

It’s hard to be a little girl if you’re not”; “Being fat takes the fun out of being a kid”; and “Big Bones Didn’t Make Me This Way … Big Meals Did.

After working with overeaters for the last few years I can clearly state that people who have a problem relationship with food are not happy they are overeating. I can say to stop a food addiction shame is the last thing that should be used. In fact, shame should never be utilized.

What the media is doing is what many bullies in school have done to overweight kids. When the media does it they are simply making fun of people and calling it “Therapy” This is complete garbage and will never work. Writers are hiding behind the internet to abuse overweight people and it is simply wrong.  How did we help some many hundreds stop overeating? It is because we revealed why they have a problem with food! It was when they discovered the underlying causes of the overeating that they learned how to stop a food addiction.

The “media” are basically individuals who sit and write. They are often not sensitive to the person who has a struggle. This site has been used all over the world in just a few short months because we know what the person who cannot control their appetite is going through. You can stop a food addiction and we are showing people how to do it.  See here help for food addiction

I feel guilty when I eat: Why this can reveal a serious problem

It is a common complaint “I feeling guilty when I eat” and it is a sign that you have an unhealthy relationship with food. Many who suffer from food addiction feel guilt as a consequence of eating too much. This site has been dedicated to helping the over-eater and we can gladly say we have shown thousands how to control overeating on their own.  Those saying “I feel guilty when I eat” must recognize this as a serious sign. Overeating is more than a physical problem; it is rooted in emotional issues which often start when young.

Lat month we reported on a 10 year old girl who took her own life after being called fat by school mates.  There are many who eat in secret to hide the fact that they overeat. The relationship with food is what is in need of healing. The problem many face is they never get to the root cause of the overeating. A key question one must ask is “Why?”

Why do you make the statement “I feel guilty when I eat”.  The “Why” is not always so obvious and that is what we make abundantly clear on this site. The answer to the question is often clouded in guilt feelings and negative statements about you.

Toughest on ourselves

If there is one thing we have learned form helping so many with food addiction is that the person overeating is often hardest on themselves. This is because the overeater really wants to defeat this problem but find it very difficult. This problem can take up much of your life and thinking. When you truly think about the statement “I feel guilty when I eat”. If you repeat it again and again you really start to understand that this is really unnatural and not healthy. Hundreds of overeaters came together and we discovered how to beat overeating. See here   Food addiction help

Food Addicted? Getting past the shame and healing on your own

* CLICK HERE FOR  THE SPIRIT HAPPY DIET

Are you food addicted? You are not alone; in fact you are one of many millions in the United States and Europe with this problem. Here are the facts; the millions of people who say they cannot control their appetite have increase over 3 times in the last 20 years. The problem is the shame that may feel when they discover they are food addicted. Scientists in Europe have revealed that this problem can be reversed in private on your own when the root cause of the problem is addressed.

The shame

“Nancy” 35 years old is an over-eater and discussed with me the shame of this problem. “Hiding foods to eat in private makes me feel like the worst person on earth. I am overweight so eating in public is often an embarrassing experience”

What science is revealing is that an addiction to eating is usually caused by prior negative experiences. Depression, low self esteem, physical and verbal abuses all set a person up for a bad relationship with food. In fact, over 75% of people who are food addicted have some depression or abuses in their history.

Why you crave the food

People who overeat (binge) or have a food addiction need the food as it causes the brain to release feel good hormones. It is a vicious cycle of overeating and trying to stop. The brain wants the food so it can make you feel better. This is why dieting cannot stop a food addiction. Those who do have a good relationship with food and need a weight loss diet we recommend the specialized diabetes diet that caused fast fat loss in people without or with diabetes see here  Spirit happy diet  recipe menu

For those who need to stop overeating, scientists in Europe revealed hundreds of people who learned to stop a food addiction on their own with medications, diets, or will power. As the underlying cause of the food addiction was addressed hundreds of food addicted people were cured. See here food addicted

EATING TOO MUCH: Why dieting won’t help stop this problem

Dr. Johansson in Europe revealed that eating too much is not solved with dieting. In fact, dieting can make a food addiction worst. The reason for this is that dieting does not solve the underlying causes of overeating.  Obesity continues to be a growing problem and many are seeking diets to solve the problem. Eating too much is a problem that may secretly live with.

Why diets don’t work: Diets can be a great thing if you find the right one. The Spirit Happy Diet is the number one diet in Europe according to a recent survey but what happens when overeating is not solved by diet. Most people who have a food addiction suffer from some form of depression in the present or past. In fact, a bad marriage, bad relationship or abusive partner all can lead to the problem of eating too much. Did you know that most women have an overeating problem due to a difficult relationship with a mother, father, boyfriend or husband?

Dieting cannot address the real problem of over eating; this can only be solved by healing the underlying causes of the overeating.  The person that overeats wants to stop but cannot and it is not their fault. They truly want to stop but cannot. It is a problem that many suffer with in silence. This is the only site that helps people stop a food addition without forcing them to stop eating.  Many people are embarrassed to eat in public and do “secret eating” and this can make the problem worst. There are cruel people who make jokes at overweight people and this causes more secret eating.  Sometimes the jokes come from people close to you and this makes matters worst.

Eating too much can be resolved alone and we feel it should be, this is a private matter and it should be reversed privately and alone. No doctors or therapy is needed when you learn how to address the real root cause.  SEE HERE  food addiction help

Food addiction treatment: The correct treatment for food addiction is not the diet

After working with hundreds of men and women seeking food addiction treatment we showed them how the relationship with food was broken. This involves no doctors, therapist or diets. In fact, we encouraged all to eat as much as they wanted and they learned to stop the addictive behavior. Food addiction treatment does not work with dieting or will power. This is a sure way to fail

What we have learned is that so many were keeping themselves in the cycle of overeating by using will power to overcome eating too much. All who take this road will end up failing. Overeating is from stresses and emotional issues. Until you learn the root causes and address them there will not be a successful diet. This condition is not a problem with your diet, it is a broken relationship with the food you eat. When you find the emotional connection of the condition you find the food addiction treatment works

The emphasis on reversing the condition on you own is very important. Overeating is a private matter that too many family members and friends have been involved in. This is one of the ways we have helped people. You read and heal alone. A private matter works better when you address these issues alone. This is what we have found to work best. The first mistake many make when they suspect they may have a problem with food is to try a diet. This will not work. A food addiction treatment will work when you read and address the emotional. This is what we have proven works

Eating too much and a 10 year old’s suicide

We live in an age of warped reality. Others are the main cause of your eating too much. This is scientifically proven. After working with so many people with eating addictions we show you conclusively that it is others who have developed this in you. A 10 year old girl is dead today due to mean and disgusting children. Eating too much is often the result of others and we show you this in our studies and report.

10 year old girl commits suicide

Why would a 10 year old girl beg her mother to “home school” her? This is a clear sign that something is wrong. The little girl was being called horrible names by so-called normal kids. Here is the quote from the dead girl’s grand mother.

“Hackney said her granddaughter had complained of mostly verbal and emotional abuse, with students calling her fat, ugly and a slut. All she wanted to do was make people happy and please them,”

Here we hear those similar words from the nasty and mean people who love to pick on others.

They are the same words that are so popular in every school. Slut,Fat,ugly.

The clueless parents of these bullies always think these bullies are angels. When will we teach our children that making fun of anyone is wrong. We give a weak discipline when we need to take a zero tolerance policy on making fun of others. Yet we see the same thing year in and year out in every school. Yet the parents give no discipline at all! Little comments from parents to bullies are “Be nice” “is that nice, Mary” This is not enough! there must be a strong understand that making fun of others will not be tolerated. Bullying and other things like it are directly related to eating too much and food addictions. This is not only the opinion of this site but scientific fact!

This is why we urge those with food addictions to get our report which was created by the loving help of hundreds with a food addiction.

The little girl was found hanging in her closet. The pressure from those she wanted to please was too much. Yet those who do carry extra pounds are made to feel horrible which leads to more eating. This is a vicious cycle that causes you to go deeper into an eating addiction. Eating too much is not your fault and dieting does not help. Until you heal the emotional you will not be able to defeat this problem. Take control here Food addiction help

Depression,Depressed and Eating too much

Depression and Eating too much

When you are depressed you may end up eating too much as a way to stop the depression. Brain research shows us that this is your body begging for the food in order to soothe the down feeling and make you feel better, this is actually a  coping mechanism the body uses that willpower has no power over. Mean comments such as “just put down the fork” are uneducated, eating too much is not your fault, particularly when your mood is very low . As we state on this site, this is not an excuse it is the scientific truth.

Overeating is deeply rooted in your emotions and this has to be completely addressed before you address the overeating. Overeating is a feel good response from the brain and it is actually a good thing, your brain wants you happy. This is not to say we are promoting unhealthy eating habits, we are not but we have done the research with hundreds of over-eaters that show it is not your fault, we have worked with literally over 500 over-eaters and discovered the root of the problem is not just a love of food. The root cause is a complex mix of present and past emotions and experiences that manifest as a food addiction or in eating too much.

Those who say mean things about overweight people are doing them great harm and possibly causing them to eat more, it is crucial for the over-eater to realize that much of appetite control is rooted in emotional issues that can go all the way back to childhood. We discovered after working with hundreds of people who had this problem that it can be solved by using a specialized diet created for overeaters and the issue is best solved in private without others to interfere. Most of your issues with food came from others who caused you distress. You can heal the issue of eating too much on your own. We feel we have put together the best information available in one report including the very specialized diet created by health researchers in Europe. See here eating too much

The Blame game: Why you blame yourself for eating too much and you should not

Those who have a food addiction often blame themselves for eating too much and they must not. This is based on Science which shows that a food addiction is not your fault. We have seen the mean ads and comments from others who say “Just lose weight” or “Put down the Big mac” This is mean and it may cause you to blame yourself for eating too much. You must not blame yourself and this is based on scientific fact not just an opinion.

A food addiction affects millions of people and many simply do not know they have it. Do you have stress or childhood abuses? Do you take anti depressants or were you teased it school? The list is much longer than this. Science shows that all these things set the stage for an eating addiction that you cannot control. The mean comments from others makes the condition worst. The stares from others and jokes keep you in this condition. Dieting does not work if you have an eating addiction and this is what those who try to diet should realize. This is where you stay trapped.

The vicious cycle continues when you try to diet. The brain will not allow for dieting to beat a food addiction. A diet may work for a short while and then the cravings start. You eat and then feel like a failure. You think you have failed your diet but your brain has created the brain addiction that a diet cannot solve. This is the dilemma that the person who cannot stop eating too much must deal with. The good news is that this can be defeated and you can stop a food addiction. We have shown thousands how to so it by eating as much as you like.
